Habitat Preservation

Keeping riparian habitat intact

Although over 80% of wildlife in Colorado need riparian habitat, only 1% of the land in Colorado is riparian.

Roaring Fork Conservancy is committed to protecting this vital habitat for wildlife and people. Our education, research and planning programs focus on teaching people about the importance of this habitat and give clear ways to protect it.
