13th Annual Fryingpan River Clean Up

River Cleanup KidsApril 30, 2011; 8:30 am to 12 noon
Meet at Lions Park, Basalt, Colorado
Look for H20 Jo & Flo - Colorado's Water Quality Ambassadors - at this event!
Help clean up one of the most beautiful stretches of river in the country! Volunteers of all ages welcome! Join us for a free breakfast before cleaning up a mile section of the river. Please dress appropriately with gloves, long pants, a hat and sunscreen. Every participant receives a free Fryingpan River Cleanup logo item. Prizes for: Best of Trash, Most Toxic, Most Useful, Most Unusual Trash. Raindate is May 7th. More info:

Dumping Waste in Storm Drains is IllegalAlthough Roaring Fork Conservancy does not regulate or enforce water quality laws and codes, we will help citizens report spills and illegal discharges to the proper authorities. You can also call us with any water or river related question.
