A Home for the Holidays Donor: Mary Linda Wilhelm
Minimum Bid: $20,000
Stop chasing rainbows; raise a hand, place a bid
Rainbow Trout Cabin, number twenty-seven
Will be one lucky family's own slice of heaven
A HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS
Accessorized to mesmerize
Could be yours December seventeenth through January four
Indeed children, including family pets, are welcome
To ripen an awaiting sugar plum
Naughty and nice, just the right spice
The flavor enhancer to arouse every prancer and dancer
As you walk through the door, an arbor dressed resplendent
The tree already trimmed, twinkling lights strung and ornaments hung
Shimmering with adornments, standing in attendance
A king and two queens will bring only sweet dreams
And for a guest unexpected, harbored in a couch undetected
The media room "queen" will complete the scene
Six nails on the mantle are already there
So bring your own stockings and hang them with care
Under the tree, you will find two cases of wine
of your selection, wrapped to perfection
to add Christmas Cheer and ring in the New Year
If your desires also require, a Jeep Cherokee, we'll throw in the key
(no one under twenty-five allowed to drive)
However, your rainbow fish carries a caveat
The dates-negotiable-they are not
Value: Three wise men bearing frankincense, myrrh and gold,
Would never be so bold to measure their gifts against
A Christmas "confection" of family love and affection
