What to wear

It can get cold on the river and you will probably get wet.
Please do not wear cotton!!
  • Men: swim trunks and non-cotton shirt 
  • Women: Bathing suit underneath shorts and non-cotton shirt 
  • Shoes that can get wet (no flip flops) 
  • Fleece if cool weather 
  • Hooded waterproof shell and pants if you have them 
  • Sunscreen & sunglasses 
  • Water bottle 
  • Leave a dry change of clothes in your car for after float.

8:00 am Registration at Veltus Park, Glenwood Springs
8:45 am Welcome by Rick Lofaro, Roaring Fork Conservancy
9:00 am Load shuttles to Carbondale
9:30 am

Put on Roaring Fork River at Carbondale

11:45 am Rafts arrive at Veltus Park
12:00 noon Lunch for participants at Veltus Park
