1. The contest is open to amateurs and professionals alike. There will be two divisions: amateurs, and professional. Professionals are defined as any person who receives payment for their photography other than through contests.
2. Photos must include rivers, streams, or bodies of water in the Roaring Fork Watershed, either directly or indirectly. The main focus of the photo should be rivers, streams, wetlands, riparian wildlife, or water-related. The Roaring Fork Watershed includes the Fryingpan, Crystal and Roaring Fork Rivers, as well as their tributaries.
3. All entries must be received via email or CD as digital files. Entries may be color or black and white digital files. Digital photos must be 1MB or larger in size per photo and not exceed 10MB. Please do not mail slides or prints.
4. You must be the sole author and owner of the copyright in all photos entered. Photos must not have been published elsewhere. Images must not have been digitally altered.
5. Five (5) submissions limit per entrant, please.
6. You may submit your photos by email or mail a CD.

8. By submitting to this contest, you agree that your photos can be used, but not limited to, Roaring Fork Conservancy’s publications and website with appropriate credit. The photographer retains all copyrights. Any person(s) appearing in photographs must sign a promotional release allowing Roaring Fork Conservancy to publish their image.
9. First, second and third place awards will be chosen. Winners will be notified via email as soon as judging is complete. Winning and honorable mention photos will be published on www.roaringfork.org and in print on Roaring Fork Conservancy materials.
10. All entries must be received by September 30, 2012. Entries which do not follow our guidelines cannot be accepted. Winners will be announced by November 1, 2012 on www.roaringfork.org. Winners will be notified by email.
