Filoha Meadows Firefly & Rare Orchid Walk

Fireflies, rare orchids, and thermal wetlands are only part of what makes Filoha Meadows special. Join educators from RFC and rangers from Pitkin County Open Space & Trails to tour areas typically closed to public access while discussing current issues surrounding Filoha Meadows and the Crystal River Valley.

Please keep in mind:

  • This program is appropriate for those 12 years and older. Minors must be accompanied by a parent.
  • Please dress appropriately as the program will happen rain or shine.  
  • Please also wear closed toed shoes as there is quite a bit of walking, including some on uneven terrain.
