Emma Walking Tour, Campfire & Storytelling

Come explore the 74 acres of Emma Open Space at sunset with staff from Roaring Fork Conservancy and Pitkin County Open Space & Trails!  Emma Open Space boasts lush wetlands, snowy fields, and a critical migration corridor for deer and elk to move across the valley. Afterwards, warm up by campfire while sipping hot chocolate and hearing stories about the native people and animals of Colorado, by Nina Gabianelli from the Aspen Historical Society and the Roaring Fork Chapter of Spellbinders.

If there is enough snow, be prepared to snowshoe! Please bring your own snowshoes as we only have a limited amount of snowshoes that can be borrowed. If you need to borrow a pair, please note the need on your registration.

This program is appropriate for ages 8 and up. Minors must be accompanied by a parent.

Please dress appropriately and plan to be outdoors then entire duration of this program.

Please call (970) 927-1290 with questions.
