Rose Ann is an attorney and the founder of Kootenay Resources, LLC. Since 2005, she has worked with Roaring Fork Conservancy on a variety of projects, including the Roaring Fork Watershed Plan. Prior to moving to the Roaring Fork Valley, Rose Ann enjoyed a successful legal career with two D.C.-based international law firms and served as in-house counsel at NPR, the USOC and The TriZetto Group. Rose Ann’s background also includes extensive work in regional planning. As a Regional Planner & Policy Analyst for the Great Lakes Basin Commission, she participated in the Great Lakes Environmental Planning Study. She later worked as a planner for Pitkin County and managed its Environmental Health & Natural Resources Department. Rose Ann received her B.S. degree in Natural Resources, Master’s degree in Regional Planning (Water Resources Policy & Management) and J.D., cum laude from the University of Michigan.
